June Men’s Breakfast

On June 11, the men of St. Mark met at Guido’s Pizza Haven in downtown Chesterland for Breakfast. Missionary Visit

On Sunday, June 5th, we welcomed to our Education Hour Gary and Sue Kessler, who are serving the Lord through The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Belize. In this role, Gary manages the LCMS’ construction projects in the country and coordinates the short-term teams that come to serve there. Meanwhile, Sue oversees religious education at Little Lambs Preschool in the Valley of Peace community and teaches English classes. Morgan Paula Atwara is the daughter of Fran and Mike Atwara. She was born in Willoughby, OH on March 7, 2008, and baptized at St. Mark Lutheran on June 28, 2008. Morgan’s sponsors are Patrick Atwara, Jr., and Annaliese Coleman. She has two sisters – Taylor and Gabby. Fried Chicken at Trinity

On Saturday, July 24, 2021, St. Mark hosted a meal and message along with members of Trinity Lutheran Church on the culdesac in front of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ohio City. The Meisters, members of St. Mark, and owners of Shaker Quality Auto Body and Repair donated delicious fried chicken. Confirmation 2021

St. Mark is happy to announce that Nathan Ryan was confirmed at St. Mark on May 2, 2021. Nathan spoke at both services about his faith and received the sacrament of Holy Communion surrounded by family friends and his fellow members at St. Mark.

St.Mark ROADtrip rewind

On the weekend of June 14, members of St. Mark took the road and traveled to the State of Kentucky to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. The group consisted of great grandparents with their great-grandchildren, young families, teens, and seniors. All had the opportunity to have their beliefs in creation upheld by exhibits on God’s creation as outlined in the bible book Genesis.
