We are happy to announce that the $5 admission fee for Preview Night for our upcoming rummage sale is Geauga Faith Rescue Mission. They are a faith-based, non-profit organization serving the homeless in Geauga county. They have a mens shelter and are currently building a women’s shelter.
MINISTRY FAIR AT ST. MARK
The month of August was a special month at St. Mark. As part of our vision “Making Christ-like, caring connections in our community,” a Mission Fair was held between Sunday services on August 30, 2026. Members of St. Mark had the opportunity to get first-hand info on what the individual boards do. They could sign up to be part of the vision. Thanks to all who participated! BAR B QUE AND A MOVIE AT ST. MARK
On Friday, August 14, 2026, members of St. Mark and some guests from the surrounding community, gathered underneath the picnic pavilion and under the stars to enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers, prepared by the infamous Chefs, the “Meister Boys.” The members os St. Mark also brought a dish to share, and we enjoyed the movie: “Holes” A wrongfully convicted boy is sent to a brutal desert detention camp where he joins the job of digging holes for some mysterious reason.…
2026 Kiwanis Independence Day Parade
St. Mark members participated in the historic 250th-anniversary West Geauga Independence Day Parade, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of West Geauga. The St. Mark praise team raised their voices, praising the Lord, traveling from St. Anselm to West Geauga High along Route 306. Pastor Mark and Pastor Chris led the hearty group from St. Mark in giving away frisbees to those along the parade route. Patriotic Outdoor Service at St. Mark
July 5 Outdoor Worship Service and Brunch – Our third annual Outdoor Service is coming-up on Sunday, July 5th. There will be one worship service at 11:00 am, which will take place in our outdoor pavilion. In our service we will give thanks to God for His continued care, including the blessings of peace, freedom, and government. Serving The Homeless
St Mark members have been serving the homeless at Trinity Lutheran in Ohio City with a Gospel message and a home-cooked lunch for over fifteen years on the 3rd Saturday of each month. In addition to serving a meal, we collect clothing for the Trinity Lutheran clothing ministry and also collect food for their food pantry. PASTOR RYAN IINSTALLATION SERVICE
We praise and thank the Lord that Pastor Chris Ryan has accepted the call to serve St. Mark in full-time ministry. To ask God’s blessings upon Pastor Ryan’s work and publicly acknowledge this new beginning, we will hold an Installation service next Sunday, December 28th at 3:00 PM. A reception will immediately follow.
WEDNESDAY ADVENT SERVICES
We can help you get into the Christmas spirit! Attending Advent services will help build anticipation and excitement in your heart for the celebration of the birth of the Christ child. We will be holding services in both the afternoon and evening on the following Wednesdays – 12/3, 12/10, and 12/17 at 11:30 am (traditional) and 7pm (contemporary).

FOOD DRIVE
Help Members of St. Mark help those who are being affected by the temporary hold on SNAP accounts by holding a food drive. Please bring items starting this Sunday, 11/9. There are boxes behind the welcome table in the lobby for the food items. Any and all items are appreciated; however, feel free to use the attached list for other suggested ideas.
