Back to Church Sunday
Sept. 17, 2023 is National Back to Church Sunday. St. Mark is participating! Invite a friend, relative, or neighbor, to church with you. They need Jesus Christ continually in their lives. If they don’t know who Jesus is, they will find out through the Good News that is proclaimed by Pastor Mark and Pastor Chris on Each Sunday. They will also feel the love of Jesus through the members of our congregation who love and care for one another. Romans…
August Community Lunch
There was a hint of the upcoming fall weather in the air as the St. Mark Women’s League hosted their monthly community lunch. Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs along with coleslaw, potato chips, and ice cream treats were the fare of the day as hungry community members enjoyed fellowship and the opportunity to meet new friends. St. Mark hosts the luncheon at no charge on the last Wednesday of each month. You don’t need reservations, bring a friend, everyone is…
PotLuck Picnic and a Movie
Potluck Picnic & Movie On Friday, August 25th the congregation gathered at the St. Mark pavilion for a picnic-style potluck and a movie. The potluck food was delicious, and the hamburgers and hot dogs were scrumptious. The movie, Disney’s Aladdin, was enjoyed by all on this perfect late summer night. Thanks to the St. Mark fellowship committee for their hard work to make this event possible.

Lori Cudnik, Molly Francis, Diane Keehl, Rebecca Jabs, Tibor and Kathryn Lakatosh, and Margot Fretz assembled baskets that were filled with small valentines items like wood items, glasses, door hangers, puzzle books, cookies…
Debt Reduction Breakfast
Seems like a lot of our special activities at St. Mark revolve around food. Probably true. When we are not in worship or Bible study or spreading the GOOD NEWS, as a congregation, we like to get together and socialize, and that usually involves a meal. Periodically, we have debt reduction breakfasts that fundraise to reduce the principal on our mortgage, which helped pay for our current church building. These breakfasts are sponsored by the women only at one breakfast…
