Thanksgiving at Trinity Lutheran

Members of St. Mark and Lutheran East High school provided Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless and disadvantaged people in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland. The Social Hall next to Trinity Ohio City was the venue. Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, a vegetable, rolls, and dessert were served to 60 people. With “to go” meals, 84 were served. Christmas cards for the Elderly

December 17 from 2-4pm. St. Mark Fellowship Hall 11900 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026 We will be making Christmas cards for the residents of Heather Hill. All are invited to attend, Parents are encouraged to bring their kids. We’ll ensure that we have people who can help them, so the parents can either stay or leave their children

Sept. 17, 2023 is National Back to Church Sunday. St. Mark is participating! Invite a friend, relative, or neighbor, to church with you. They need Jesus Christ continually in their lives. Welcome to Rev. Dr. Kevin Wilson: Ohio District President, who visited and preached today at St. Mark. Rev. Wilson gave a presentation at the Education Hour in Fellowship Hall at 9:15 between services Pastor Wilson highlighted the services available through the Ohio District to local congregations. He also answered a number of questions from the audience.

August Community Lunch

There was a hint of the upcoming fall weather in the air as the St. Mark Women’s League hosted their monthly community lunch. Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs along with coleslaw, potato chips, and ice cream treats were the fare of the day as hungry community members enjoyed fellowship and the opportunity to meet new friends.
