Seems like a lot of our special activities at St. Mark revolve around food. Probably true. When we are not in worship or Bible study or spreading the GOOD NEWS, as a congregation, we like to get together and socialize, and that usually involves a meal.
Periodically, we have debt reduction breakfasts that fundraise to reduce the principal on our mortgage, which helped pay for our current church building. These breakfasts are sponsored by the women only at one breakfast and the men only at another. This provides a healthy competition to see who can produce the most delicious breakfast.
