Serving those in Need at Trinity Lutheran
St. Mark has partnered with Trinity Lutheran in Ohio City for many years. We serve a community meal once per month, help stock the Trinity food pantry and bring clothes for their clothing outreach. February has been exceptionally busy, St. Mark held a “Stuff the Bus” event and we loaded “Prayer Force One, ” the church bus with donated clothes, particularly men’s clothes, which were in need. annual chili Cook-Off 2020
On Feb. 8, 2020, the wildly popular St. Mark Chili cook-off happened. The hungry audience sampled from 11 selections of Chili. The fare included Mom’s Chili, Bison Chili and a “deer “favorite, Bison Chili. After an exceedingly close vote, Tom Holt’s “Addiction Special” won for the best Chili and expert chef Ray Gleske, a winner from 2 years ago, took the most original medal.
