Pastor Mark Matzke, Senior Pastor at St. Mark, was chosen by the officials of the Chesterland Memorial Day Event to give the invocation and concluding prayer, this Memorial Day at the township cemetery on Chillicothe Rd. Rev. George Zehnder, former Pastor at St. Mark, took on the character of a Revolutionary Army person for the event. MOTHER’S DAY TEA AT ST.MARK

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the ladies of St. Mark, along with children and grandchildren, celebrated Mother’s Day in St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall. The theme “Embracing New Beginnings,” especially welcomed by all new moms and children. LUTHERAN WOMEN IN MISSION PRAYER SERVICE

On February 15, 2025, St. Mark hosted a prayer service for the Northeast Zone Lutheran Women In Mission (LWML) members. The inspiring service featured awesome singing and heartfelt prayer. A fun skit featuring some LWML ladies was also included A luncheon in St. Mark Fellowship hall followed.

Sunday School Begins Sept.8

The new youth Sunday school year begins Sept 8.  All of the children in our congregation who are in Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to join our mixed grade class to learn about Jesus!  Each week the class includes a Bible story lesson along with hands-on crafts and games.  Our Sunday school is intentionally structured to allow the teachers to build strong relationships with the youth.  Once again, Kim Craig, Tracy Deets, and Peggy Kump will be volunteering their…
