St. Mark’s Book Club:
For our May meeting, we will be discussing Charlotte’s Web. Join us as we discuss E.B. White’s classic story of love, loss, and renewal. We will be meeting at 1 p.m. on May 13th in the small dining room off of St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall.
For our June meeting, we will discuss books that have been translated into English. Pick ANY book that was originally written in a foreign language and come ready to discuss why you think it was worthy (or not!) of an English translation. Your selection can be a classic (like The Odyssey or The Three Musketeers) or something more modern (like A Man Called Ove or My Neighbor Totoro) Although you are free to choose any title, a list of potential books is available on the bulletin board across from the coatroom. Please contact Sue if you’d like the list emailed to you. We will be meeting at 1 p.m. on June 10th in the small dining room off of St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall.
Due to changes at the Fairport Harbor Public Library, book club titles will no longer be available to borrow from Sue.
Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please contact Sue Matzke with any questions about either month. All are welcome. Bring a friend or two!
