Psalm Shelters in the Storm

New Tuesday Bible Study: Tuesday, January 16th, Pastor Mark will begin a new Bible Study entitled “Psalm Shelters in the Storm,” a discussion of six Psalms that give comfort and understanding when times get rough. (Especially at this time of year, keep an eye on weather-related school closings. If West Geauga Schools are closed, we also have a ‘snow day.’)

Mid Week Lenten Services

Midweek Lenten services will begin on Feb 21. We will have services at 11:30am (traditional) and 7:00pm (contemporary). The evening service will be livestreamed each week.

Pastor Led Longer Look at the lessons-In Person Study

A Longer Look at the Lessons – Starts up on Sun, Sept 12 th! 9:20 am Each week in the LCMS Church there are three readings, one from a Gospel, one from an Old Testament book, and from an Epistle. Community Free Lunch

You are invited to Lunch at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Join us for lunch! Each month, on the last Wednesday from 11am-1pm, our Women’s League hosts people from Chesterland and the surrounding communities for a FREE lunch.  The menu varies each month, but generally includes a main dish, side dish and dessert.  It is served in our Fellowship Hall or you can come in and get a take-out meal.  No reservations are needed.  Bring a friend and enjoy great food…

St. Mark Book Club

St. Mark’s Book Club: Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 10th at 1 p.m. April’s book is YOUR choice of any biography, autobiography, or memoir. We will be mixing things up. You get to pick the book! We’ll discuss the person’s life and critique the writing.
