WHAT GOOD IS THE GOSPEL? -NEW STUDY

COMMUNITY LUNCH, “LET’S GRILL”

St Mark’s May community (free) lunch was a hit for both young and old on May 28, 2025. Expert grill master Leah Spisak showed that she can handle more than the handbells in church by preparing hamburgers and hot dogs for Wednesday’s lunch. Scrumptious desserts, along with chips and potato salad, were also served. Lee Stone’s great-granddaughter, Luna, passed out chips and oversaw the garnishes each served with a big smile. PASTOR MATZKE – MEMORIAL DAY PRAYER

Pastor Mark Matzke, Senior Pastor at St. Mark, was chosen by the officials of the Chesterland Memorial Day Event to give the invocation and concluding prayer, this Memorial Day at the township cemetery on Chillicothe Rd. Rev. George Zehnder, former Pastor at St. Mark, took on the character of a Revolutionary Army person for the event.
