Vacation Bible School at St. Mark

St. Mark Valentines

The St. Mark fellowship board plans a lot of fun events at church and in the community. This year they extended their outreach to many of those that can’t make it to church on a regular basis for health reasons or because they are in assisted living. Debt Reduction Breakfast

Seems like a lot of our special activities at St. Mark revolve around food. Probably true. When we are not in worship or Bible study or spreading the GOOD NEWS, as a congregation, we like to get together and socialize, and that usually involves a meal. Periodically, we have debt reduction breakfasts that fundraise to reduce the principal on our mortgage, which helped pay for our current church building. Gift of the Magi Boutique

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2022, AT 9 AM – 4 PM Location: St. Mark Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe rd. , Chesterland, OH 44026 Our Christmas Boutique will include quality products from 30 vendors including jewelry, quilts, candles, baked goods, embroidery, wood crafts, and more! ST. MARK Kids Fill Easter Baskets

Elementary and Middle School Kids (and all their friends)!!!!! were the Easter Bunny’s helper on Saturday, March 12 at 10am in the Fellowship Hall. They prepared the Easter baskets that will be made available to the congregation to fill. Fun, games, a brief message, and lunch were provided. These Easter Baskets once filled by members of the congregation will be delivered to Geauga County Family Services and distributed to needy families in the area

November was Busy at St. Mark

November was busy at St. Mark. Our Women’s League “Gift of the Magi” Boutique turned our hallways into a wonderland of Christmas gifts many handmade by church members and local merchants. The Box of Chocolate Concert Series, an outreach event, proclaimed the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST, in word and song a the “Friends” Gospel Quartet entertained and evangelized the audience Our monthly community free lunch was held inside for the first time since the pandemic started and was enjoyed…

Fried Chicken at Trinity

On Saturday, July 24, 2021, St. Mark hosted a meal and message along with members of Trinity Lutheran Church on the culdesac in front of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ohio City. The Meisters, members of St. Mark, and owners of Shaker Quality Auto Body and Repair donated delicious fried chicken.
